2. Mixing Auger 280.3172
The mixing auger conveys the AN from the dump hopper and allows the addition and mixing of fuel oil and an additive. This system has two delivery settings that can be changed by reversing the drive system sheaves. This allows the mixing to be matched to the man power available for bagging

3. Fuel Oil System

4. Electric Control System 280.3177
The electrical control system provides automatic start-stop control of the mixer according to the level of ANFO in the bagging hopper and AN in the dump hopper. Selector switches allow manual or automatic operation of the mixing auger, fuel oil pump and additive feeder, either individually or as a group.

Amerind Model CPHD7.5E
Specifications: All normal product contact surfaces are fabricated from Type 304 stainless steel. The unit includes a V shaped 9 cu ft receiving hopper with interior agitating arm, top safety screen (expanded metal mild steel), and a small electric vibrator on the hopper with rheostat control. The drive motor is 7.5 HP TEFC, 220/440, 3 phase, pre-wired through a NEMA 12 control panel. Three explosion proof micro switches mounted on the rail frame of the packer provide the logic to give automatic operation. The packer includes an air cylinder to control density and this circuit includes a line lubricator and filter. The complete unit is on castors and the drive mechanism, sheaves, belts, air clutch are protected by an open guard.

This is a stainless steel diverter that allows ANFO to be diverted from one package system to another.

This system also includes an electrical control console allowing the operator to switch the source of the bin level controls between the two machines. This option must be selected if the auger packer is selected.
